Actor Blake Lively who is known for her incredible roles in Gossip Girl, Age Of Adeline, A Simple Favor, It Ends With You and many more. Apart from her acting her dressing sense and more importantly her hair have always been talk of the town.
On 4th August 2024, actor launched her new cruelty-free and vegan hair care line called Blake Brown Beauty. Apart from incredible fragrance and affordability what sets the brand apart is an unexpected twist: the brand is launched without any conditioner.
Blake Lively Launches Hair Care Line Without Conditioners, Here’s Why?
The reason behind skipping conditioner in her hair care line, the actor said,
“I started using masks (instead of conditioner) almost 20 years ago now. I don’t ever use conditioner, unless I’m at a hotel and I poorly packed. It’s like kind of an emergency scenario when I use conditioner, and when I do, it’s like I can’t brush through my hair.” She also mentioned that no one in her industry uses hair conditioner either.
Sharing her hair care routine she mentioned that she washes her hair with a nourishing or strengthening shampoo followed by a hair mask. Which is exactly what she recommends people should follow to achieve healthy hair.
Seven Years In The Making

It took lot of trial and errors and seven long years to launch this hair care line with 8 vegan hair care products that includes shampoos, hair masks, pre-poo masks, leave-in treatment, dry shampoo and a styling mousse. On this the actor said,
“We were uncompromising, which is why it took an absurd amount of time, but the products show our level of dedication and strict quality control. I couldn’t be more proud. We’ve partnered with the coolest accessible chain out there, Target, to bring this baby to you all. I can’t wait for people to try it.”
She also said that she wanted the products to smell incredible and look fabulous as people are sharing a space in her home for the products and she wanted the products to look pretty perfect too.
